Math About Me Activity

When a new school year starts, I usually have a few weeks of math lessons to fill before my team and I can start teaching our math curriculum. One of the back to school math activities I like to do with my class is a Math About Me worksheet. I like this activity because it is engaging to students and it gives me a chance to get to know a little bit about them. I also use this as an informal assessment. This sheet gives me a good idea of who knows their numbers and basic math facts.
